Care is rarely delivered by one person in one place. It moves between family members, paid helpers, professionals, services and moments in time. CareRunner treats that circle as the unit of coordination.

Everyone in a circle participates by role, sees only what their permission allows, and works on the same shared record — so context and responsibility survive each handoff.

Being part of a circle does not mean seeing everything in it. Each role carries its own boundaries, and sensitive material stays with the people who need it for the work in front of them.

Membership is not the same as access. Every ring sees less than the one inside it, and sensitive material is gated by consent as well as role.

A circle is not a fixed org chart. A paid concierge may join for three months, a distant relative may take over paperwork, a runner may help once. What matters is that the work and its context stay with the circle rather than with an individual.
